Rosh Hashanah: September 22-24

Am Kolel welcomes your participation in services this Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at the Unitarian Univeralist Congregation of Silver Spring led by Rabbi David Shneyer. In addition to regular services we will offer children’s services on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur day. Adult services will also be live-streamed for those who prefer or cannot attend in person.

CHILDREN’S SERVICES
September 23 and October 2, 10:30 am to Noon
Am Kolel is offering an experiential High Holiday program for children ages 5 to 12 on the first day of Rosh Hashanah (9/23) from 10:30 am to 12 pm and on Yom Kippur Day (10/2) from 10:30 am to 12 pm. There will be hands on activities and snacks. The services will be at UUCSS (10309 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20903).

In Memory of Our Loved Ones | YIZKOR
Our loved ones will be remembered in a special printed Yizkor booklet and names will be scrolled during the Yizkor service.

The tradition of memory is strongly connected to tzedakah. Please consider a Yizkor contribution to honor the memory of your family member(s). Your contributions will support a wide range of organizations in our community, throughout the US, in Israel and around the world that meet a variety of human needs. YOM KIPPUR FOOD DRIVE
We will collect dry and canned goods in the morning (9:30am - 1:00pm) of Yom Kippur, Thursday, Oct 2. There will be boxes near the check-in table at services. Donations will be delivered to MANNA Food and Mary House.

Am Kolel follows CDC guidelines for reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19. Masking is optional.
